Paris Can Can

From France, via America to leafy Lichfield, this was a breathtaking show in more ways than one!

Eight gorgeous girls and four handsome lads put on a brilliant display of dancing that had the Wednesday night sell-out audience roaring for more. The Park Avenue Theatrical Group of New York performed to the music of Offenbach and other pieces specially created for them, wearing a range of spectacular and colourful costumes.

It was frills and thrills, especially for men in the audience who were fans of the female form.Some of the high-kicking award-winning choreography was enough to raise the blood pressure to danger point.

Black stockings, suspenders, garters. You name it.

The programme had other attractions, too, like the juggler who could use Mexican hats like boomerangs, a remarkable plate-spinner, gymnasts and a superb female vocalist.

Can Can can do no wrong.
